HomeDiary for your clients and sphere

Sponsoring a HomeDiary or Ordering the Diary: What Is the Difference?

Both options let you introduce HomeDiary to past clients, current clients, future clients, friends or anyone else in your sphere of influence. The difference is what happens next.

A sponsorship invitation connects you to the homeowner as their HomeDiary Sponsor. Ordering a HomeDiary goes further by letting you collaborate, add reminders and other useful information and—depending on the package—provide an editable 2D/3D floor plan of the home.

The quick answer

How Much Value Do You Want to Deliver?

If you only want to introduce someone to HomeDiary and be identified as their sponsor, send a Sponsorship Invite. If you want to help build the Diary with the homeowner, order HomeDiary — Basic. If you also want to give the owner an editable, shareable digital twin, order HomeDiary + 2D/3D Floor Plan.
1. InviteEstablish your sponsorship and introduce the owner to HomeDiary.
2. CollaborateAdd useful documents, photos, reminders and home & purchase records.
3. Add the digital twinGive the owner a 2D/3D floor plan they can keep using for any purpose.
Three useful choices

Choose the Right Level of HomeDiary

Each option builds on the one before it. Pretty straightforward.
Simple introduction

Sponsorship Invite

Invite someone directly or share your universal invitation link. When the homeowner joins, you are identified as that person's "sponsor" inside HomeDiary.
        • Past clients
        • Friends and family
        • Future clients
        • Anyone in your sphere
Important limitation: You are the sponsor, but you cannot collaborate in the Diary or add entries for the owner.
Active clients

HomeDiary — Basic

Collaborate with the owner and add content to the home's timeline. This is particularly useful when a client is preparing to close or move into a home.
        • Transaction documents
        • “Before” photos
        • Maintenance reminders
        • Records of recent improvements
        • Recommended vendor information

Turn a future task into an actual reminder instead of a good intention.

Why ordering matters

Do More Than Make an Introduction

A sponsorship invitation establishes the relationship. An ordered HomeDiary lets you participate in creating something useful. That distinction matters around a real estate transaction. The buyer is receiving documents, inspection findings, recommendations, photos and important information from several directions at once. Some of it makes it into a folder. Some makes it into an email archive. Some disappears into the mysterious place where closing documents apparently go to hide.
Add the record now. Upload useful transaction documents and before photos.
Remember the later task. Create maintenance reminders from inspection findings.
Share trusted help. Add contact information for recommended home professionals.
Stay useful after closing. Give the owner something that continues delivering value, and keeps you in front of them.

A floor plan answers questions photographs cannot.

Will the sofa fit? How much flooring might be needed? How could the kitchen be reconfigured? What layout should be sent to the contractor? The digital twin remains connected to the HomeDiary instead of becoming another static file that gets forgotten.
The digital twin

Add the Floor Plan and the Diary Becomes Even More Useful

The HomeDiary + 2D/3D Floor Plan package includes the collaboration features of the Basic package and adds a digital twin of the home.
Move-in planning
Furniture placement
Improvement ideas
Contractor communication
Flooring estimates
Patio and landscaping planning

The bottom line: the owner receives an asset they can continue using, sharing and editing as the home changes.

Which Option Should You Choose?

Order a HomeDiary when you are working with a client through a transaction—especially when you have documents, photos, reminders or useful property information that can give the owner a better start. Add the 2D/3D floor plan when you want to provide the most useful version: a HomeDiary the owner can build on, plus a digital model they can use for moving, planning and future projects.  92% of buyers want to experiment with furniture placement and more. We let them do it.  On the flip side, the Sponsorship Invite is the practical alternative when you simply want to introduce HomeDiary to a past client, prospect or member of your sphere and remain connected as their sponsor.
